2012, is this year one to fear or embrace???

We are surrounded by others thoughts on what is going to happen, what we should watch out for, what we should prepare to do, but what is 2012 except a number? In my line of energy work I have been asked a million times ‘what do you think will happen in 2012?’ so I’ve decided to share my thoughts on the time which inevitably will come whether we want it to or not…..

2012 for me IS just a number, it is made up of nothing, a beginning and a duality, by that I mean, it is nothing but another year, it is the beginning of a new year and it is duelled with prospects old and new. It is not the numbers 2012 which are important, than how we perceive them, how we perceive our future. If 2012 fills you with fear then perhaps you should look at why. What is it you fear for your own future and do you think it will serve you to be fearful? I like to look at the future with a sense of hope and one of love. There is no one that can predict our futures but there are many that can highlight how we can change our ways. The prophecies, the future forecasts are there to bring things into our awareness, instead of fearing those which resonate with us, why not embrace them? Let’s take responsibility for our part in them, in our world and make the changes we can so our future is one to relish and look forward to!!

So here’s what I’m looking forward to:

Becoming more aware, aware of myself, how to achieve my goals and dreams, awareness of this wonderful planet and what I can do to help it, nurturing awareness of other people and my relationships with them. I feel I look at the world through different glasses now, I sense the energy which surrounds every living thing, I can sense through peoples blocks and actually ‘see’ them. I love the work of James Cameron’s Avatar, how each of them ‘see’ each other, their strengths and their weaknesses. What happens if we start ‘seeing others’ and things around us using all of our senses!! This is what I think is for us in our future, more and more of us ‘seeing’ ourselves in the future we want!! I believe that the transcend from our current perspective of the universe to this perspective may be a difficult, although a worthwhile one, and this may cause confusion which can cause other emotions such as anger, jealousy, rage, but I believe there will be people there to help guide us through, whether for you that may be of another plane such as God, Angels, Guides or on this plane such as Lightworkers.

I struggled with the word Lightworkers…. what are they, what super powers do they have? That was until I realised, like so many, I am a Lightworker. I work with energies within and around the body, I work with all of my known six senses, I am an empath which allows me to feel how others are feeling and understand their emotions. I am a Lightworker because I am prepared to help light the way to a new existence. Not on another planet, or in another world, right here, right now, before 2012 and after, I will be there to help myself and others to move forward, to embrace the world changes which are upon us and in front of us.

I do feel we are all on the brink of huge change and I can’t wait!! Like the death card in the Tarot some things have to pass in order for new birth to enter. Old conditioning beliefs, things which no longer serve us, I no longer need to hold onto and by letting these things go, no matter how difficult it may be or how far I am out of my comfort zone, I know I will be allowing, new and exciting changes into my life.

So 2012 is coming and yes there will be changes, some good and some difficult but no more or less than there was in 2011 or 2010, just different. So next time I am asked ‘‘what do you think will happen in 2012’ I am going to reply…. change!!!
